We are down to the final week of the MLB Baseball betting season, and while all five teams in the National League have already clinched their playoff berth, there is still much to be decided in the American League. The Royals and Blue Jays have already clinched their divisions, and the Yankees have virtually knotted up their top Wild Card spot.
But the AL West Division is still up for grabs, and the Rangers, Angels, and Astros are all battling for the two remaining postseason slots.
Technically, Minnesota and Cleveland are still alive for the AL Wild Card hunt, but even if either one of those teams won the rest of their games, they would still need a ton of help to earn that final spot.

It’s been a long road to the top, but the Toronto Blue Jays have finally surpassed the New York Yankees for the lead in the AL East Division, owning a 1.5-game lead over the Bronx Bombers heading into Friday’s action.
Toronto has been on an absolute tear going 18-4 in their last 22 games overall – a winning streak that coincided with bringing in ace pitcher David Price.
Now that the Blue Jays have the division lead, don’t expect them to be complacent – this is a team we will be looking to back throughout the next month and a half.
Offensive production was never a problem for the Blue Jays – they lead the majors in runs scored by a whopping 100-run margin and their overall run differential is +170 (42 runs better than second-best St. Louis).

We are three rounds in to the US Open (two round completed on the women’s side), and while most of the major contenders are still around, there have been quite a few upsets in both the men’s singles and women’s singles brackets. Top-seeded Novak Djokovic and Serena Williams have advanced with little trouble, but some of their top competition have already fallen.
Three of the top 16 seeded players on the men’s side couldn’t advance past the first round. The major upset in this bracket saw fourth-seeded Kei Nishikori fall in five sets against Benoit Paire.
Third-seeded Andy Murray was nearly a victim of the upset bug, falling behind two sets against Adrian Mannarino before rallying to win the final three sets to advance.
