PricePerPlayer.com Enters Agreement to Partner with Bwager.comSan Jose, Costa Rica – Software Development and pay per head service provider, PricePerPlayer.com just entered a partnership deal with Bwager.com, a sports betting development company based out of the Philippines with branches in Costa Rica and Panama.

The partnership was created so that PricePerPlayer would be able to offer a wider array of gambling software platforms and security measures while Bwager.com would now be able to offer Sportsbook Pay Per head services to its clients.

Some of the main details of this partnership include PricePerPlayer.com acquiring 35% ownership of Bwager.com, full access to its current gambling platforms and joint project development.  Bwager.com in exchange will receive full access and development rights to the PricePerPlayer pay per head software technology.

Pennsylvania Gambling Bill Passes the House

 

Pennsylvania Gambling Bill Passes the HouseBig news for the gambling industry in Pennsylvania, the biggest gambling expansion bill in Pennsylvania has just passed the Pennsylvania House of Representative with a 109-72 vote.

The new bill which will expand casino-style gambling to truck stops, online portals, airports and to also 10 new mini casino will now be sent to Governor Tom Wolf who will evaluate and make a decision on this new gambling legislation.

This bill has been two years in the making and if Governor Wolf, signs it, it would mean a new era of gambling in Pennsylvania.  This means that Pennsylvania would become the first state to legalize both online casinos and lottery games.

New Interest Group to Represent Online Gambling in the U.S.

iDevelopment and Economic Association Lately, we have seen a lot of news about the legalization of online gambling in the United States which include the attempt to legalize online gambling in New York.  As the legalization of sports betting and online gambling is making more headway every year, it was only a matter of time before a new interest group would be formed to represent the legalization of online gambling.

This week, the iDevelopment and Economic Association (iDEA) announced its formation as the first trade association to exclusively represent the online gambling industries in the United States. The goals of iDEA is to advocate the many different types of internet gambling which include online poker, bingo, sports betting, casinos (digital and live dealer) and lotteries.

The first thing the group has done so far is to publish a white paper called, “Economic Impact of New Jersey Gaming: Lessons Learned” which is a case study on how New Jersey passed their online gambling law and how it affected their economy.

Most Californians Support Online Gambling

Californians Support Online Gambling April 28 2014 - Most California voters would like to see the state tax and legalize Internet poker, according to a Poll released today.

Among all age groups, 53 percent of voters support the idea, the poll says, while 41 percent oppose it. Among voters under age 40, however, support grows to 73 percent.

The Legislature has been discussing proposals to make online gambling legal in California for the past two years. The bills stalled as various gambling interests fought over who would be able to profit from the endeavor.
